Why Agility Peptide exists
Agility sounds effortless. The cell biology underneath it is wonderfully fussy.
Holding material ready
Agility suggested movement to me, and then faster repair. The structure of actin held by a thymosin beta-4 hybrid spoiled that simple picture in a useful way. A protein associated with migration can hold an actin unit apart and prevent its assembly into a filament. There is an economy to that reserve which I like very much.
Agility Peptide is my notebook about that more complicated subject: how cells move, receive a blood supply and rebuild the material around them. BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu and KLOW recur here because their proposed roles touch different parts of the process. Their evidence is uneven enough to make the conversation interesting, and incomplete enough to rule out confident treatment claims.
Uncooperative results
The least cooperative results absorb me most. In the thymosin beta-4 rat stroke study, the highest amount tested gave no significant benefit. The protein behind that experiment also differs from the short fragment called TB-500. GHK-Cu has topical human findings, while its whole-body reputation reaches far beyond them. KLOW’s ingredients sound complementary before anyone has measured their behavior together.
Less convenient results would suit me if they explained the biology better. Give me independent replication, measurements of useful function and longer human follow-up before another long catalogue of pathways. There is plenty to admire in the biology without pretending the clinical questions have caught up.
